What I Want

There're a lot of things I want, kiddies, most of them quite modest. I'd like a couple of new projects. And, I can always use information. Here are a few things I'd like to find. Contact me if you can help.

• I want to know how much electricity one gallon of water produces falling one foot (the formula or where to find it would be fine).
• I want the song and lyrics to "Tattooed Lady"; it's a country song probably recorded in the 40's or early 50's. I last heard it on a 78 rpm recording. The singer refers to Skeets on guitar. The lyrics I remember go something like this: "Upon her (wolf whistle) was Minnesota, the place I longed to be..." UPDATE: I actually found this recording!, but now its lost on my computer somewhere.
• I want confirmation of a story from around the Spring of 1978 concerning a bet at the "Baltimore Sun" newspaper. Reporters bet they could get the phrase "It was as if an occult hand..." past various editors at the paper. After months in which editors for several sections were dupped, the "ring" was broken when the phrase was used in a sports page one article. The "Sun" said they would be glad to search their database ... for a fee. Update
• Riddle me this: If the "End of Times" is coming in 2012, why are right-wing politicians even running in 2012?
